The Suidoosterfees proudly presents the BoKaap Meander. Enjoy 2 hours of exploring the beauty of Traditional Cape Malay Cooking which is tied to family and community Traditions.

The BoKaap Meanders takes you on a Cape Malay Cooking journey which showcases how specific foods are prepared and enjoyed at Ceremonies and Traditions spanning from the cradle to the grave. Find out what is cooked and served at Name Giving, Prayer Evenings, Engagements, Weddings and Funerals. Learn how to prepare and cook a Traditional Cape Malay Bredie / Curry and return home with a 'Barakat' - Takeaways with Blessings!

OMTOM 2012 Refreshment Stations and Marshals Thank You Event

On Monday 25th June 2012, the OMTOM 2012 Refreshment Stations and Marshals Thank You Event took place at the Presentation Room, Old Mutual in Pinelands.  This year the rain came pouring down during the OMTOM, yet the refreshment stations and entertainment went above and beyond their call of duty, so all 51 Refreshment Stations and 7 Entertainment Stations, received a ‘Shield’ for Outstanding Service.
