• Chairman of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of South Africa
• Member of the Two Oceans Marathon Organising Committee
• Race Director Spar Women’s 10km Race & Truworths Women’s 10km Race until 2005
• Race Director and Founder member of the Foodworld, now Jive, 10km Big Walk

Itheko’s Communications Manager, Fatima Allie has 10 years of community radio broadcasting experience:

• UCT Graduate in B Soc. Science
• Majors in Sociology, Social Anthropology and Psychology
• Community radio experience having held the position of Programming Manager, Marketing Manager and General Manager.
